HCW is seeking Industrial/Organizational Psychologists at all career levels.
Our I/O Psychologists work in a collaborative environment, partnering with experts in the fields of data science and human capital to drive organizational development and transformation, influence workforce strategies, and ultimately, improve the alignment of people to strategy. Critical to working as an I/O at HCW is also helping with the design and development of highly unique and innovative machine learning solutions enabled by artificial intelligence. If provided an opportunity to join our team, you will be asked to identify root-cause workplace issues, translate data into insights, and develop organizational strategies for clients in all types of industries – government, commercial, and international.
Please ensure you can share real-world or academic experience across this range of responsibilities:
• Design strategies for identifying, analyzing, and enhancing human performance
• Develop, validate, and implement assessment tools and processes
• Conduct job, competency, and capability gap analysis; validate competency models
• Develop and implement career management and skill-building programs
• Facilitate and/or lead process improvement and/or organizational design projects
Qualifications/Attributes:
Must have:
• Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational, Research, Social or Cognitive Psychology
• Exceptional ability to communicate with all levels of an organization (e.g., articulate projects, methodologies, findings)
• Experience with applied research methodologies and statistical data analyses
• Strong understanding of validity/reliability in assessment
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and psychometric abilities
• Proficiency in at least one statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R)
Nice to have:
• Doctorate degree in Industrial/Organizational, Research, Social or Cognitive Psychology
• Examples of research publications in relevant journals
• Project Management (PMP) certification
• Security clearance (with polygraph)

Human Capital Consultants at HCW apply knowledge gained from the fields of business, education, human resources, psychology, and more to guide clients in making informed decisions across the talent lifecycle. The work is collaborative, requiring the ability to navigate complex organizations and uncover root-cause issues to human capital challenges. Unique to working at HCW in the domain of human capital is also the opportunity to help design innovative machine learning solutions enabled by artificial intelligence that address known people challenges. If provided an opportunity to join our team, you will be asked to support and lead projects both tactical and strategic in nature that create value for an organization through the most effective use of their people.

• Conduct job and organizational assessments
• Develop change management plans and strategic communications products
• Create informative, persuasive deliverables (e.g., plans, reports, briefings)
Qualifications/Attributes:
Must have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HR, Education, or highly relevant field
• Exceptional ability to communicate with all levels of an organization (e.g., articulate projects, methodologies, findings)
• Experience with activities and events that occur across the talent lifecycle (e.g, recruitment, development, succession)
• Strong understanding of approaches to workforce planning
• Strong understanding of project management fundamentals and ability to work within project constraints
• Ability to work, at times, with multiple ambiguous projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook) and ability to build polished client deliverables

Our Data Scientists work in a collaborative environment, partnering with experts in the fields of I/O Psychology and human capital to drive the creation of new predictive analytics tools that incorporate the latest research on machine learning and AI. Critical to working as a data scientist at HCW is a deep interest to partner with team members and clients to develop custom algorithms that provide previously unknown insights of maximum impact.
Please ensure you can share real-world or academic experience across this range of responsibilities:
• Deliver insights from large unstructured datasets.
• Work on the entire machine learning pipeline from data extraction to model deployment
• Extract, analyze and select data using feature engineering techniques
• Implement and experiment different text mining and sentiment analysis algorithms
• Measure and optimize the quality of your algorithms
• Build high quality solutions
Qualifications/Attributes:
• Masters or PhD preferred
• Experience with machine learning techniques, particularly NLP
• Excellent statistical intuition and knowledge of various analytical approaches
• Superb communication skills and ability to explain your analysis clearly
• Experience with Python or similar scripting languages
